The First Thoughts blog is based on the intuitive ideas and revelations presented in the short, tightly packed booklet, First Thoughts.
The First Thoughts booklet is the story of how the insights from a remote 19th century text* held the key to re-discovering the ancient Theology and Doctrine of the early Christian Church that spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the known world and “confirmed the message by the signs that accompanied it”.
This short concise booklet is intended for all people; practicing Christians, unchurched, and curious seekers. It may be of particular interest to the clergy and laity of the “Charismatic Renewal Movement” (CRM) who believe that the Body of Christ still operates in the power and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit that energized and inspired the followers of the Way in the Christ-communities of the apostolic church. The booklet seamlessly re-connects the CRM to its powerful ancient Greek theology of immanent Logos and Spirit, in contrast to Western Latin theology’s remote, transcendent, juridical, magisterial God.
This is the restoration of the power theology and power practice of the Ancient Christian Church: the marriage of Orthodoxis and Orthopraxis.
